EU Ambassadors yesterday approved the European Commission (EC) December 2022 new proposed Directive on Administrative Cooperation covering tax reporting on cryptocurrencies (‘DAC8’). This means it passes next week to the ECOFIN meeting of Finance Ministers for swift approval.
