According to what was clarified by the Revenue, the sending of defective goods by the
Italian customer to repair centers in Italy or in another EU state is an operation outside
the VAT scope pursuant to art . 2 of Presidential Decree 633/72, as the nature of
onerousness is missing and the ownership of the goods remains with the final
customer.
