The Council endorsed Bill
1 transposing Council Directive (EU) 2020/284 of 18 February 2020 amending Directive 2006/112/EC as regards the introduction of certain requirements applicable to service providers of payment;
2° amending the amended law of 12 February 1979 concerning value added tax.
The purpose of this bill is to transpose Directive (EU) 2020/284, which aims to combat VAT fraud in the context of cross-border e-commerce.
