The Parliament of the United Kingdom (UK) has announced that its legislation to ratify the Australia-UK Free Trade Agreement (A-UKFTA) will be receiving Royal Assent.
According to Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell, the A-UKFTA represents the UK’s first new trade deal signed since Brexit and will remove tariffs on over 99 per cent of the $9.2 billion Australian goods exported to the UK annually.
