During the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2022-February 19, 2023), the value of exports from North Khorasan province in the northeast of Iran increased by 123 percent compared to the same period last year. This is according to Nasser Fakhr Movahedi, the province’s deputy governor-general for economic affairs. He added that the province exported commodities worth over USD124 million during this time.
