Non-EU residents traveling to France are entitled to a VAT refund on the goods and services they purchase but the filing process can be tedious and time-consuming. The newly announced Wevat app simplifies the process to provide a more customer-friendly solution. With the Wevat app, travelers can skip lengthy lineups and onerous filing by storing their receipts on their phones and completing the VAT refund process digitally.
