VAT taxation of land sales transactions by natural persons has been the subject of interpretation disputes between taxpayers and tax authorities for a long time. The sellers are of the opinion that the land is sold as part of the management of private property, while the tax authorities look for signs of business activity by the taxpayer and demand the calculation of VAT.
