At Budget 2020 the Government announced under the heading of ‘Review of the VAT charged on fund management fees’ (OOTLAR – 2.20) that the review ‘will also consider the VAT treatment of fund management fees and other aspects of the UK’s funds regime.’ A consultation was confirmed in Autumn Budget 2021.
