You could already read it in the newspaper: the Council of Ministers has approved a draft law aimed at modernizing and simplifying the processing of periodic VAT returns, in particular when taxpayers fail to submit those returns. However, the design goes much further than that and includes a completely new back office in which the current account disappears and the modalities for the refund and payment of VAT change radically.
