As a reminder, during this year there were some proposals and initiatives in relation to the receipt lottery, the game for the customers, in order to get prizes from one side, and from another to achieve better tax control, with the use of fiscal devices in Italy. In relation to that, the goal of the authorities is to make everything easier for the buyers. From this year on, there are no new winnings because the receipt lottery has been on “standby” because there have been efforts to approve it and bring it to a whole new, more convenient level. The goal, therefore, is to modernize the whole process into a fast, digital version of a scratch card. The Customs and Monopolies Agency, together with the Revenue Agency, decided to simplify and speed up the procedure to entice citizens to participate.
