Mozambique’s Council of Ministers reportedly approved a package of tax measures on 8 November 2022 that includes:
- A reduction in the standard VAT rate from 17% to 16%;
- The introduction of new excise duty rates for the period 2023 to 2025, with the maximum ad valorem rate limited to 30%.
