Taxpayers that exceed the thresholds of shipping goods between EU Member States have the obligation to submit monthly Intrastat declarations. Usually, at the end of the year, several authorities within the European Union announce changes in reporting thresholds or deadlines for Intrastat.
The threshold changes are as follows:
- Dispatches: rising from BGN 780,000 to BGN 1 million; and
- Arrivals: rising from BGN 520,000 to BGN 700,000
