HMRC’s email to agents included an updated list of frequently asked questions about the new service.
The way that agents register businesses for VAT changed on 1 August 2022 with the rollout of the new VAT Registration Service (VRS). Following several teething problems, HMRC emailed agents on 19 October 2022 with answers to the frequently asked questions.
