The cabinet of Finance Minister Vincent Van Peteghem (CD&V) reports that there is no question of increasing the VAT rate for the demolition and reconstruction of buildings from 6 to 21 percent. “If the rate is not included in the tax reform by the end of 2023, it will be extended again,” the minister’s spokeswoman told Belga.
