… The second step still has to be taken, namely reducing the VAT on fruit and vegetables to 0 percent. Van Peteghem already put that VAT reduction on the table in July, as part of his blueprint for a major tax reform. The federal government now seems to agree on the principle, but the concrete implementation must therefore follow at the beginning of 2023.
