This memorandum of amendment provides for a number of amendments to the legislative proposal for the implementation of the EU Directive on the exchange of data on the digital platform economy.
Firstly, it is proposed that if a reporting platform operator is a resident of an EU Member State, the reporting obligation in another EU Member State is no longer met.
