During the meeting held on June 8, 2022, the Monetary Policy Council decided to further increase the lombard rate of the National Bank of Poland. The rate was increased to 6.50% (an increase of 0.75 percentage points). The change affects the rate of interest on tax arrears, which after the fifth increase this year is already at the level of 15% and has been in force since June 9, 2022.
