Egypt’s Ministry of Finance first announced and initiated integration of its e-Invoicing system, which covers business-to-business transactions (B2B), in 2020. Full implementation has not been completed yet, and MoF is still in the process of expanding the scope of implementation. After successful implementation of the e-invoicing system, details of the e-Receipt system (for B2C transactions) was published in April 2022.
