Economists disagree with Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s suggestion to bring back the Goods and Services Tax (GST). Universiti Tun Abdul Razak lecturer Barjoyai Bardai said although the tax had been implemented before, more study needs to be done on the productivity potential of the tax.
