The so-called Group on the Future of VAT (GFV) , an informal group of the European Commission made up of representatives of the tax authorities of the different Member States, dedicated its last meeting of 2021 to dealing with one of the central issues of the so-called “VAT in the digital age”, such as the requirements of the electronic provision of data (“Digital Reporting Requirements” or DRR in its acronym in English).
