If it is up to the cabinet, anyone who buys solar panels will no longer have to pay VAT on them from 1 January 2023. State Secretary Marnix van Rij (Fiscality) published a bill and internet consultation on this on Wednesday . At the moment, owners of solar panels still pay 21 percent VAT on their installation and delivery.
