To support the Russian used car market in Russia, it is planned to introduce the abolition of double VAT. The measure will apply to sales of used cars between showrooms. The draft law proposes that when reselling used cars and motorcycles ( including legal entities) to levy a tax on “the difference between the sale price and the purchase price, including tax.”. At the moment, such a mechanism only works when a dealer resells a used car to an individual.
