The Ministry of Finance encourages the resignation from VAT exemption and taxation of financial services. The problem, however, is that due to the lack of transitional provisions, proper tax settlement is not possible. For example, it is not known when the tax obligation will arise. Financial services are generally VAT exempt, but the Polish Order has introduced the possibility of voluntary taxation.
