Turkey’s Revenue Administration has announced the publication of Presidential Decision No. 5249 on 1 March 2022. The decision provides for a reduction in the VAT rates on supplies of electricity for residential and agricultural irrigation purposes from 18% to 8%. The reduction is effective on supplies made from 1 March 2022.
