In Belgium, B2B e-Invoice implementation will be mandatory from 2023. The official legislative update has not yet been released. It is estimated that the process will proceed as follows; July 2023 for large companies, October 2023 for medium companies and 2024 for small companies. The technical framework for B2B e-Invoicing in Belgium is also unknown. It is expected to be based on the PEPPOL standard, which is already a B2G e-invoicing solution in Belgium.
