Anguilla Introducing Goods and Services Tax from July 2022

nguilla has finalized the introduction of a new Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime with effect from 1 July 2022. When effective, the GST will replace interim goods tax, accommodation tax, environmental tax, communication tax, and the public entertainment levy. The standard GST rate will be 13% and the registration threshold will be annual turnover or expected annual turnover of XCD 300,000. Certain supplies will be zero-rated, including basic foodstuffs, commercial farming and fishing products, manufacturing products, exports, and others. Further, certain supplies will be exempt, including healthcare, prescription drugs, education services, insurance and financial services, and others.
