On February 4, the Finnish Parliament (Eduskunta) approved for consideration Bill No. 5/2022. The proposal, prepared by the Ministry of Finance, amends the VAT Act and the Excise Duty Act so that it would be possible to sell goods included in a traveller’s personal luggage to passengers travelling within Finland or arriving in Finland from a tax-free shop at an airport.
