On 14 January 2022, Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance released on their website a draft decree providing guidance on the value-added tax (VAT) rate reduction following Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 (Resolution) on fiscal and monetary policies to support the program of socio-economic recovery and development, which was passed by the National Assembly on 11 January 2020.
