Hungary has taken steps for the introduction of Standard Audit File (SAF-T) to be done in 2022

Hungary’s National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) has prepared the launching of the pilot version of the OECD’s Standard Audit File for Tax (SAF-T). This country has already completed a public consultation for this matter at the start of 2021. Given the ongoing COVID-19 emergency, it is likely that any start date may be in late 2022 at the earliest.
