Due to Brexit, the United Kingdom is no longer an EU country and the EU ‘stock-on-demand VAT’ scheme for the United Kingdom will expire on 1 January 2021. For practical reasons, the Dutch State Secretary recently provided more information about the application of the on-demand stock scheme in case goods were transferred from the Netherlands to the United Kingdom or vice versa before 1 January 2021.
