The deadline for filing economic substance information returns has been extended to 31 July 2021.
The economic substance rules in Bahrain apply to entities (corporations, branches, and partnerships) that conduct one or more of certain listed activities.
All entities subject to the Bahrain economic substance rules need to register and file their economic substance returns for the fiscal year ending 2020 via a website portal.
