West Virginia State Tax Department – Sales and Use Tax rates

• Updated Sales and Use Tax rates effective July 1, 2021
• Local sales tax rates in the state range from 0 to 1%
• Combined maximum state and local sales tax rate is then 7% (1% maximum local sales tax rate + 6% state sales tax rate).
