Since the EU rules no longer apply to the United Kingdom from 2021, the process for reclaiming VAT has also changed from 1 January 2021. Out of leniency, the website of the Dutch Tax Authorities can be used until March 31, 2021 at the latest to reclaim the British VAT on invoices from 2020. After this, the entrepreneur will have to submit the application directly to the British tax authorities.
