If an entrepreneur does not receive payment of outstanding claims, the already paid VAT can be reclaimed from the tax authorities. The Tax and Customs Administration applies a period of one year for this. In times of liquidity shortage, such as now with the corona crisis, this refund must be granted much faster, experts say.
