Brazil may reduce proposed 12% VAT if it raises overall tax burden – economy minister

Brazil may reduce its new VAT tax from a proposed 12% if it ends up increasing the overall tax burden, Economy Minister Paulo Guedes said on Wednesday, adding that levies on dividends and profits will also be looked at.
