The public prosecutor on Thursday in the court in Rotterdam demanded prison sentences of up to 10 months against two men who worked as civil servants at the tax authorities. The two ran a tax consultancy in addition to their work for the tax authorities and, according to the judiciary, used the tax administration systems to advise their clients. In addition, the men would have been paid to have an objection from one of their clients approved by the tax authorities, so that their client had to pay less tax. In addition to a prison sentence, the Public Prosecution also demanded a professional ban against the two men.
