From 28 June 2019, businesses accredited as ‘trusted traders’ are no longer required to obtain or present country of origin certification documents (e.g., a certificate of origin provided by a certifying authority or, where permitted under the relevant FTA, a declaration of origin provided by the manufacturer, grower, etc.). This sees to dutiable goods imported from Chile, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
