Decision No. 160 “On Filling in Customs Value Declarations” adopted by the Eurasian Economic Commission on 16 October 2018 (the “Decision”) will come into force on 1 July 2019.
The Decision introduces significant amendments to the procedure of customs value declaration, as well as new requirements for filling in particular fields of the customs value declaration.
The Decision continues the general trend of reducing the administrative burden on entities engaged in foreign trade. At the same time the procedure for customs value declaration and its confirmation may become more complicated in certain cases.
