Portugal: Deco wants more ‘healthy food’ with reduced VAT

Deco, the Portuguese Consumer Protection Association, will ask the government and parliamentary groups to apply the 6 per cent VAT rate to foods such as canned legumes, olives, lupins, tomato pulp, tea, coffee, oat flakes, soups and bottled water.
