As per Egypt Minister of Finance, the electronic invoice will be compulsory for all entities starting November 2020. Moreover, he confirmed that the ministry is working on fully automating the tax procedures & the tax audit process.
He also confirmed that by June 30, 2021; the Ministry would be fully managed electronically. Additionally, he mentioned that the ministry is currently being fully managed by the automation system, but what will happen on June 30 that all systems will be integrated with each other.
By the end of December 2020, most of Egypt’s exports and imports will be completely managed electronically through the logistics centers taking 5 days to release the goods (if not 3 days).
