On March 20, 2020, the Federal Council brought into force, on March 21, 2020, the Ordinance on the temporary waiver of default interest in the event of late payment of taxes, incentive taxes and customs duties as well as on the renunciation of the loan repayment by the CHS (COVID-19-ordinance on renunciation), (RO 2020 861; cf. appendix).
