From the Polish tax authorities
- During the ECOFIN Council meeting, which took place on January 21, 2020 in Brussels, the Polish Minister of Finance Tadeusz Kościński supported the priorities presented by the Croatian presidency, in particular those regarding taxes.
- The minister emphasized, however, that it is necessary to accelerate work on legislative projects in the field of VAT, especially in the area of tax rates.
- At the ECOFIN meeting – the first since Croatia took over the Presidency of the Council – the finance ministers familiarized themselves with the work program of the new presidency in economic and financial affairs.
