HMRC has written to 145,000 VAT-registered businesses across the UK, including Northern Ireland, that exclusive trade within the EU. These letters explain changes to customs, excise and VAT in the event that the UK leaves the EU without a deal at the end of the month, and advice on what businesses can do to prepare for the impending changes.
