Dragnea’s measure, approved: VAT on agricultural products decreases from 9% to 5%
The draft law initiated by the former PSD leader, Liviu Dragnea, whereby the VAT rate for certain products used in agricultural production decreases from 9% to 5% received a favorable report from the deputies of the budget-finance committee, to be voted in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies. The decrease would take effect from January 1, 2020.
