- Turkey’s Presidential Decree No. 10813, effective from 6 February 2026, mandates that all business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce shipments must comply with regular customs declaration procedures, eliminating the previous simplified customs declarations for imports valued at €30 or less.
- For products valued up to €1500 that are not for commercial use, a regular customs declaration is now required, which includes declaring all applicable import duties and obtaining necessary permissions or licenses, instead of a fixed customs duty.
- Exceptions remain for certain medicines and food supplements valued up to €1500 that can still be imported under a simplified fixed duty structure when prescribed, but the previous €30 limit for general e-commerce shipments is abolished, increasing compliance obligations for B2C entities.
