- The Greek Public Revenue Authority released Circular E.2113/2025, clarifying the 30% VAT rate reduction for specific islands in the North Aegean Region, Evros, and the Dodecanese with populations up to 20,000, effective from January 1, 2026.
- The Circular reaffirms the existing VAT rate reductions for Lesvos, Kos, Samos, and Chios, with new rates set to decrease from 24% to 17%, 13% to 9%, 6% to 4%, and 4% to 3% for qualifying islands.
- A list of islands eligible for the reduced VAT rates is included in the annex of the Circular.
