- These countries have not correctly implemented the SURV3 system, continuing to use outdated data formats and incomplete datasets instead of the required 57 standardised data elements, compromising effective customs control and risk management across the EU.
- The Commission has issued letters of formal notice, giving each Member State two months to respond and remedy the breaches; otherwise, the Commission may escalate the process by issuing reasoned opinions.
