- Colombia’s Ministry of Finance has issued Decree No. 0572, effective June 1, 2025, which revises self-withholding tax rates for various economic activities, ranging from 0.55% to 4.50% based on specific activity codes.
- The Decree establishes minimum withholding thresholds, exempting individual service payments below 2 UVT and payments for unprocessed agricultural or livestock products and parchment or cherry coffee below 70 UVT from withholding tax.
- Decree No. 0572 references the previous Decree No. 0242, which set earlier withholding rates and did not alter the rates for income from hydrocarbon, coal, and other mining exports. The tax value unit (UVT) for 2025 is set at COP 49,799.
