- New Version Released: The Franco-German hybrid e-invoice format has been updated and is now available as Factur-X 1.07.3 and ZUGFeRD 2.3.3. This update, developed collaboratively by the Forum for Electronic Invoicing Germany (FeRD) and the French National Forum for Electronic Invoicing (FNFE-MPE), incorporates newly published code lists compliant with the European Norm EN16931, effective from May 15, 2025.
- Hybrid Format Features: The Factur-X/ZUGFeRD standard combines a human-readable PDF and an embedded XML file for automated processing, making it particularly beneficial for small and medium-sized businesses. It supports various profiles, including XRECHNUNG for Germany and EXTENDED-CTC-FR for France, facilitating e-invoicing for both B2B and B2G transactions.
- Accessibility and Support: The updated versions can be downloaded for free from their respective websites, enhancing accessibility for businesses. The documentation has been revised and is available in multiple languages, ensuring comprehensive support for users of the format in both countries.
