- Some taxpayers reported issues requesting a tax refund on their January 2025 monthly returns, prompting the ITAA to seek clarification from the Federal Public Service Finance.
- Taxpayers can still claim a full refund of available credit for periodic returns filed before October 1, 2025, by checking the ‘Request for refund’ box on their returns.
- For the January 2025 declaration, the refund request box was inaccessible until February 18 at 1 p.m. for those with a debt or credit under 50 euros, but Intervat has since been updated to address this issue; affected taxpayers can amend their returns or request a refund separately.
